Will send some photos - didn't get around that much, but have some good skyline pictures of me and the city. Might be going to Kentucky this weekend to visit some friends - you would not believe how many relatives I have around this country. Talk soon.

Golf Tournament & Homecoming

Cow! You sure were missed on Friday. Our stand in mascot attended two events to help show support for our team while you were vacationing in Florida. We had an utterly good time at the Sykesville Raiders Golf Tournament. Our Stand in cow drove the golf cart around with the coach's wife to help pass out beverages. Don't worry- no milk was spilled. There is a picture here of him with Coach Jim & Coach Sam. All day long people were asking about you and if you were alright or coming home soon.
Friday night you missed our homecoming. There was laser tag, moo-n bounce, cotton candy, and probably best of all the pie toss. Coach Jim was a good sport while many of the boys on the team threw pies at him. Cow Mom noted that he was lucky they were not throwing Cow pies!
We hope you had a good time in Florida- be safe and we hope you come home soon!

Raiders win one for you cow!!

Cow! Big win for the Raiders over the Ellicott City Patriots!!! 14-0! Justin Mintzer scored the first touchdown and your brother Justin had another great interception! Cow Coach Jim's son Tommy had a touchdown too! We even got a safety during the game - details to follow with picts.

We hope Tampa is a blast. Is it hot down there? Is that how you make hot chocolate milk? Well, Jack had hot chocolate at the game in your honor.

Have fun!

Don't forget to moisturize...

COW!

Since you're in sunny Florida, it's important to keep those udders moisturized from the heat! Did you remember your Mooui sunnglasses? Here's a pict of your favorite cream in case you need to pick up some up while you're down there!

COW IN TAMPA!!!

Here's cow's email!

Hi - Late getting into Tampa tonight, but I thought I would send you a couple of pictures to let you know I am okay. Hanging out with some friends downtown. It will be a quick couple of days, but I hope to get out tonight and possibly over to the bay tomorrow. It's hot down here - sweating like a pig.

Don't forget your car seat!

Cow! For heaven's sake, don't forget your car seat for the plane! FAA regualtions state that anyone with 2 or more udders must be seated in a government approved booster! So I looked around for you today and found something you might like. I just hope it's not your Uncle or something.

New Message from Cow

Hi - Just thought I'd check in to let you know I am on my way south. They really pack em in on these airplanes nowadays - like a cattle car. I'm having fun, but starting to miss you guys. Tell the boys I said hello.

YOU'RE ON YOUTUBE!

Cow - your ABC interview is on youtube for the world to see : ) !!! There's a rumor out there that says you won't return home until the Sykesville Raiders get a turf field. You know, that's ironic - since first game you missed was a turf field. Hmmm.....well, I hope you get to a good football game in your travels! In the meantime, here's your youtube link!

LATEST EMAIL FROM COW!

Sorry I've been out of touch. You've probably been asking yourself "Where's the beef?" Well, I never made it on my trip this weekend - I was supposed to go to LA with friends, but I contracted the Swine Flu! Can you believe it, me, the Swine Flu. In any case, I'll forward you some pictures of me recuperating as soon as I am feeling up to downloading the pictures. Although I didn't make it to LA, I'm off to someplace sunny later this week - stay tuned for some great shots of me having fun in the sun. Then off to the Big Apple next week! Man, I'm living large.

Cow.

First Day of Training

Cow -

Well, since you're not around for now, we're trying to get your stand-in to get in shape for the team. Here are some picts of his first day of training. He had a little trouble with the flank - I mean....plank. Instructor Deb was a huge help!

YOU MADE ABC NEWS!

Cow -

Like it or not, you are a celebrity! Everyone wants to know where you will turn up next. Vegas? DC? Somewhere closer to home? The local Bar(n)? LOL. I'll tell you one thing - I went to the grocery store to get SOY milk, and just about had a cow when I saw the carton! By they way, here's the link to your story!

Cow is going on a roadtrip!

Okay folks - I'm passing along an email from cow....I can't wait to see where he went over the weekend!

"Hi - having fun. Will be heading out on my trip tomorrow and will try to "steer" clear of any trouble. I'll try to send y'all some pictures if I can find an internet "calf"e.

Cow"

Buckle up!

Cow - there's been some concern over your safety while you travel. Remember...look both ways before crossing the street, don't let your udders drag, and don't moo at strangers. Do NOT accept milk from a stranger, even if it's chocolate. Last but not least - buckle up!

WHAT A GAME! RAIDERS WIN!

COW! You missed a moozy! I mean.....doozy! The Sykesville Raiders E-2 team won over Silver Spring, 13-0! Your brother Justin had an interception! In fact, there were 3 interceptions that game - it was unreal! The downside, you weren't there, but you were in spirit. Here are some snaps of your temp with the team.

My Starbucks run just isn't the same

Cow - I made our usual Starbucks run and ordered your favorite: a Grande triple-shot, half-calf, soy, sugar-free, cinnamon dulce latte, no whip, with room, extra hot. By the way, your Barista Andy said hi.

The Sykesville Raiders and Chick-fil-A rally for Cow!

Okay Cow - a ton of your cousin's, Uncle's, Aunt's, and whoever else in your lineage, came to Thursday's practice to support your adventure and rally for your safe return! In honor of your brave trip, Chick-fil-A presented us with a temporary mascot for the team to keep Cow spirit alive. They also had a zillion little moos that they handed out to spread the word! It was a moooooving night at Obrecht fields. The Sykesville Cheerleaders chanted for you, and ABC news even showed up to grab some footage!

Cow's email and first picts out on his own....

Hi - I was out playing today. Had some fun at the park. Played on the jungle gym and shot some hoops. I'm taking a big trip this weekend and will send some pictures from the road. I can't wait to get out of town! Tell everyone hello and I'll be mooing at you soooooon. (woops, just pooped on the floor, I've really got to learn to control that).

The Reply

Dear Cow -

Wow - I had no idea you felt so trapped and neglected! Your udder buddies really miss you! And the cats are wandering around like, "Nice job Mom! NOW who are we going to play with?"

I hope you enjoy the outside world and visit some fun places! Maybe you'll make some new friends and meet some family. I think your Uncle is a famous spokescow for Chick-Fil-A. If you get a kids meal while you're there, remember that you can trade in the toy for a free ice cream.

If you make it to the mall, they have an awesome Merry go round! Maybe you can see if you're related to Maggie Moo. It's right next door!

I do hope you have a fun adventure, and the Sykesville Raiders hope to see you soon. By the way, they have a home game Saturday, Sept. 19th, at Obrecht fields, 11:30 a.m. Maybe you can sneak a peak to wish the team good luck!!

Cow's first email: I took a hike!

Hi -First, I'm sorry. By now you are probably wondering where I am. Well, I needed to get out. Just needed some space and some time to find myself. I know that I don't say too much and usually am just standing around posing for pictures and being cute and stuff, but lately I realized that I don't even know who I am. Am I simply here for the amusement of others? I might as well be a stuffed toy. Anyway, I sneaked out when you guys weren't looking and hitched a ride to anywhere USA. What a world out here! I'll send some pictures if I can and will email you again soon when I get to another place that has a connection. Alot of the barns I am staying in don't have any internet connections. So please don't worry about me - I am having an udderly ridiculous time - and that is no bull!

Be back soon.

Your Friend,Cow

His first game

Here's his first big game against North Carroll. It was a beautiful day - lots of bees! North Carroll won 14-6, but the touchdown we got was the most incredible 10 yard pass for a touchdown you could imagine! The boys played their hearts out and they were all winners that day!

Scrimmage

Here's cow on the way to his first scrimmage! Being on the dash when there's a sudden stop is probably not the smartest thing.

Hello fans! Cow is corresponding to let us know he's safe and sound and just needs a change of scenery. Here are some pictures of him training for his mascot position to stay strong for the team.
